Simon Crane

Hey everyone! My name is Simon Crane and I'm in the Des Plaines office, working under Adrian Ortiz. Over the past three weeks, I've been working on multiple projects at O'hare Airport. I have been learning about T&M, takeoffs, and have gotten plenty of practice reading and comprehending drawing sets. I have also had the opportunity to take multiple site visits, including a 12 hour overnight taxiway closure last week. That closure was spent installing lights along the reconfigured airfield layout, and removing guidance signs. I was grateful to be able to experience the field in that capacity.

I have spent most of my time in the office and have really enjoyed getting to know everyone there! So far, I've learned a lot, and I'm excited to continue gaining experience over the rest of the summer.
