Ryan Maloney 

Hello everyone. My name is Ryan Maloney and I am working out of the Des Plaines office under Nick Ripkey and others in Division 532. Over the past four weeks, I've been working on multiple projects at O’Hare Airport. I have been doing a lot of work with T&M’s, pasting together drawing sets, and doing takeoffs. I have also had the opportunity to take multiple site visits, including a 12-hour overnight taxiway closure on June 15th with the other airport interns. That closure involved installing dozens of solar taxiway lights and removing signs along the taxiways. It was a great experience and I was able to learn a lot about the project that I am on just from observing in the field.

I have spent most of my time in the office and am really enjoying working closely with the other 532 airport interns along with other project management interns in Des Plaines.
