Students are required to have their Chromebooks at school with them every day and take them home; Chromebooks must not be left at school.
Students are required to make sure their Chromebooks have enough battery life to last them the day; charging in class is not permitted unless students bring their own portable battery pack.
Students must keep their school-provided protective case on their Chromebooks unless I approve a personal case.
Students will not put stickers on their Chromebooks or Chromebook cases or deface them in any way.
Chromebooks will be kept in the students' backpacks during passing periods, not in their hands.
Every student must use his/her own Chromebook and will not use another student's Chromebook for any reason without a teacher's permission.
Damage to a Chromebook must be reported to a teacher as soon as the damage is noticed.
Games will not be played and videos will not be viewed during class unless a student has clear permission from the teacher.
Students: if you are experiencing issues with your school-issued Chromebook that I have not been able to resolve through email, you may allow me to log into your Chromebook remotely (meaning, I can use it and control it without needing to have it in my hands); this is called a "Remote Desktop Connection." For your safety, Google does not allow me to connect to your Chromebook without your permission.
To start a Remote Desktop Connection, follow the steps below (the Chromebook must be turned on and connected to a network):
*(the access code expires if it's not used in 5 minutes, so it must be sent (by you) and used (by me) immediately)
