Reminder: we are once again collecting Box Tops to earn money for the school! Look for the Box Tops label on popular items at the grocery store to purchase, and bring your receipt to school for us to scan. When our receipts are scanned, it will automatically pick out the qualifying items, which will be logged to our account.

Monday, May 23 is a free dress day for AR goals, and the rest of the week is free dress (dress code violations can still be given out for not following the free dress code policy).
Wednesday, May 25 is our annual Regal Eagle auction, when our students can bid on items with the Regal Eagles they have earned and saved throughout the year.
Wednesday, May 25 is our end-of-year awards chapel, which includes 3rd trimester honor roll awards, character awards, and enrichment awards (except for 8th grade, who will receive their awards during their commencement). We will also be acknowledging our Tech Fair participants, so all of our participants who completed a project should wear their Tech Fair shirts (again)! Parents are welcome to join us in-person for our final chapel of the school year.
Thursday, May 26 is the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!
It is a MINIMUM DAY and DAYCARE IS NOT AVAILABLE. Please ensure your child is picked up by 12:45pm, as campus closes at 1pm.
We will hold our annual 8th Grade vs. Adults kickball game at 8:30am.
We are having an end-of-year pizza party at approx. 11am.
8th grade graduation takes place in the sanctuary at 6pm.
Please let me know if you would like me to share some math resources for your child to practice over the summer. I can share physical printed packets or provide guided online learning programs, both of which will cover all 6th grade math objectives. Students who return in the fall and show proof of completion of either option will receive a free dress pass and 25 Regal Eagles at the start of the school year!
If we were created without the freedom to think and decide and do things on our own, and every day looked the same as the day before, life would be extremely boring and unfulfilling. Fortunately, that is not what our lives look like. Each day is dynamic – moving, changing, with variables and unknowns at every turn. This means we have good days that give us new hope, and terrible days that make us wonder why we even try.
And then we go through entire seasons in which EVERYTHING is unknown, challenging, scary, and unsettling.
But regardless of what the unforeseen day and season look like, each one helps shape who we are as individuals.
A lot has happened ON CAMPUS. We have learned things, and forgotten things. We have had great days with all of our classmates, and rough days that feel like everyone is our enemy. We’ve failed something we shouldn’t have, or we’ve passed tests we didn’t think we had a chance at surviving.
The last school year has shaped and affected us - individually as well as globally - in ways we could not have imagined. But the most important truth is that every experience has fallen under the authority of the Lord. Nothing happens under the sun that cannot be strengthened, restored, or redeemed by God.
For those who do not know God, the sum of all of life’s experiences forms their identity. But for those who trust in the Lord and step into the saving grace of Jesus, our experiences are nothing less than the method by which God fulfills, builds, and redeems us, both today and for all time.
