To connect to a TV, expand the displays for the campus you are at, click it and hit Join Room
(If connecting from an iPad, you will need to then search your screen mirroring menu and find the joined room)
Once connected, you will be taken to another menu. At this point you are not sharing your display but you are connected to the ViVi unit. From here, click Share Screen to connect to the display.
Once youi begin sharing your display, you will notice a ViVi overlay that appears on your screen. This contains all the ViVi controls.
Extended Desktop vs. Mirrored Display
Click the ViVi icon on your top menu bar to switch between the two display modes. It should be the far left icon.
Pausing your Display
Hit the Pause button on ViVI toolbar to pause the ViVi device updating what the screen displays. This is useful if you want to put content up and then continue to use your laptop (but dont want to use Extended Display)
Whiteboard
Hit the pencil (Annotate) to allow you to annotate over what is being displayed.
Screenshots
You can hit the Screenshot button to take a screen grab of what is on the display. This is useful in collaborating with the Annotate feature.
Stop
Hitting the Stop button will stop screen sharing.
Home
Hit the Home button to show to main ViVi menu window.
Hide
Hit the Hide button to minimize the ViVi toolbar.
To get better playback performance, you can use a feature built into the ViVi that allows video and other various types of media to be displayed.
Hit the Play Content button in the main menu (this will require you to stop sharing your screen to the display)
Provide a URL or link to a piece of media. ViVi supports YouTube, audio files, video files, Powerpoints and Slides and many others. You can also create a playlist of media to playthrough.
Click Play Links. This will bring you to a control panel where you can control the content.
ViVi allows the projection of full screen clocks and timers while still allowing you to use your laptop.
Hit the Clocks and Timers feature from the main menu.
Select your clock type, give it a name, configure it and hit Display Clock
