First Aid Procedures

1. Check the first aid and OHS notice boards in the staffroom to view students with action plans and medical needs. These are also attached to students’ Compass profiles. 

2. Become familiar with APC’s First Aid Policy and Anaphylaxis Policy.

3. Fill in a General Health Observation on Compass for any serious first aid and inform the First Aid Officer (reception@albertparkcollege.vic.edu.au)

4. If you use something from a first aid kit, fill in the appropriate Google Form when signing back in - you must record the injury and treatment administered on Compass as a General Health Observation.

5. If you are unsure, please contact reception.

EpiPens:

All student and spare EpiPens, as well as first aid kits are located at Danks Street Reception for Year 7, 8, 10, 11 & 12 and Bay Street Reception for Year 9.
