AP Language and Composition is a demanding course designed to be equivalent to a college composition course. The main objectives of this course focus on developing students’ critical reading, critical thinking, and writing skills through the study of rhetoric and style. Students will read multiple genres and will cultivate methods to become a more active and engaged reader. Initial reading assignments will be used continuously during our journey of stylistic and rhetorical analysis as well as developing support for essay composition.
