The Creative Speaker Contest
The Creative Speaker Contest
The Creative Speaker is a speaking contest between classmates which has been launched in 2019. Its main objective is to enhance students to speak fluently and to promote creativity and critical thinking. Accordingly, each student chooses a topic and makes a video speaking about it.
After all, students upload their videos to Seesaw then their English teacher nominates participants for the final stage. Finally, a committee of English teachers evaluates each video according to certain criteria. Winners are announced at the school end-of-term ceremony. The Young Author Contest
The Young Author Contest
The Young Author is a contest that was established in 2019 by a tenth-grade student, Ms. Jana Aburokba. Jana put all the rules and goals of the contest which was reviewed by the English committee. Students from all grades in the high school section are welcomed to participate and submit their work. Finally, the English committee evaluated the work and announced the winners.
