The UAF Oceans Lab, led by Drs. Seth Danielson, Tyler Hennon and Thilo Klenz, is a collaborative research group dedicated to understanding how the ocean shapes ecosystems in the high-latitude North Pacific and Arctic. Our work focuses on the circulation, temperature, and freshwater variations of continental shelves, and how changes in these fundamental properties affect nutrient cycling, biological productivity, and ecosystem structure.
