As a champion, you are critical to the success of the Giving Day event to raise money for supporting initiatives across the university system.

1. Make a Gift on Feb 22-23
Help build the transormational power of UA Giving Day for students with your donation.
Unlock extra funds throughout the UA System by donating to funds with UA Giving Day Challenges.
2. Get your Champion URL
Track how many donors and dollars you connect to Univeristy of Alaska on Giving Day.
Qualify for Champion competitions and drawings.
Don't want to create a Champion URL? Go on to Step 3.
Tips
If you had a Champion URL last year, you need to sign in to your existing account and create a new Champion URL
You can sign up through the UA Giving Day site to become a champion.
When you sign up as a champion you will receive an email with a personalized URL
Share your personalized URL via email, text, and social media with classmates, friends, family and followers
Track your progress on your Champion Dashboard

Consider writing your email and deciding on who to send the email to before UA Giving Day. You can even schedule the email to send on Feb 22 and Feb 23. On UA Giving Day, you can follow up with the people you emailed with a text or phone call as a reminder

5. Keep informed
Mark that you are attending the UA Giving Day Facebook events to see updates from your university.
Check your email frequently.
Registered champions will be emailed time-sensitive surprises throughout UA Giving Day.
To get notices from UAA, UAF, and/or UAS, select all of your affiliated universities during registration OR on your Champion Dashboard.
Keep track of Challenges that are close to being unlocked.
