Collaborators

Dr. Mat Wooller is a Professor at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. He studies past environments in the Arctic (and other locations) using isotopes and other techniques.

Dr. Pat Druckenmiller is a Professor at the University of Alaska Fairbanks and is the Director of the University of Alaska Museum of the North. He studies, amongst other things, Arctic dinosaurs.


Dr. Love Dalen is a Professor at Stockholm University in the Centre for Palaeogenetics studying ancient DNA in fossils including mammoths.

Audrey Rowe is a PhD candidate at the University of Alaska Fairbanks studying mammoths and caribou.

Dr. Josh Reuther is a Professor at the University of Alaska Fairbanks and oversees the archeological collection at the University of Alaska Museum of the North. Dr. Reuther is an archeologist.


Dr. Julie Esdale is an archeologist with Colorado State University.

Dr. Jeff Rasic is an archeologist and program officer with the National Parks Service in Alaska.

Dr. Kathryn Krasinski is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology at Adelphi University.

Dr. Peter Heintzman is a Professor Stockholm University in the Centre for Palaeogenetics studying ancient DNA in fossils including mammoths.

Dr. Nancy Bigelow is the Director of the Alaska Quaternary Center and conducts research related to Arctic paleoecology, palynology, vegetation history, and ecosystem reponses to climate change during the Quaternary period.

Dr. John Southon is a Co-Founder and Staff member of the W.M. Keck Carbon Cycle Accelerator Mass Spectrometer. He is a expert in radiocarbon dating.

Dr. Ben Potter is a Professor of Anthropology at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

Nick Baker is a teacher at Randy Smith Middle School in Fairbanks who teaches in the Extended Learning and Science Technology Engineering and Math Programs.

The Adopt A Mammoth Project has teamed up with the Colossal Bioscience compony. Colossal is adopting mammoth specimens for schools in Alaska. https://colossal.com/
