Thank you so much.

Your donation will add huge scientific value to the mammoth collection and future exciting mammoth research in Alaska.

Your generous donations to adopt a mammoth (or mammoths) will help cover the costs of radiocarbon dating these amazing fossils.

  • You can adopt an individual mammoth fossil or a whole herd (of fossils).

  • When we receive your adoption we will select your mammoth fossil from the museum collection.

  • When you have adopted we then ask if you would like to name your mammoth (fossil).

  • We will then visit your mammoth (fossil) and take a small sample to radiocarbon date along with a digital photo of the specimen to send to you.

As soon as we get the dating results we will send them to you (it takes a several weeks and a massive instrument!) and add them to our database along with your name in perpetuity as we hunt for THE YOUNGEST DATED MAMMOTH IN ALASKA.
