How does teletherapy work?
After you and your therapist discuss the scheduling of your sessions, usually every 1-2 weeks, you therapist will take time to build rapport with you so they can get to know you and tailor their therapeutic approach to your specific needs. Your therapist will discuss with you all paperwork needed, expectations, policy, and answer any question, comments/concerns you may have before your first session.
How long does teletherapy take?
The duration of therapy is unique for each individual and their circumstance. The length of time it may require for you to accomplish your goal(s) depends on your desire for personal development. Your commitment and driving factors leading you to services is also a determining factor on the duration of therapy.
What can I do to help my therapy sessions?
Show up as your authentic self, free from the thoughts of judgement and fear. Your active participation and dedication are crucial for your success in therapy. Completing the work inside and outside of your sessions is very important. If at any point you feel like something is not working for you, please discuss those matters with your therapist.
Are insurances accepted?
I am currently accepting Aetna, Ambetter, Cigna, EAP: Cigna, EAP: Optum, Florida Blue, and Optum. When requesting an appointment, please click Request Appointment for Insurance Only. The amount reimbursed depends on your insurance policy. Insurance coverage varies by individual plan. Clients are responsible for verifying eligibility, benefits, and reimbursement policies directly with their carrier. It is best to contact your provider to determine what they will cover.
What is your cancellation policy?
We not only value your time but our time as well and respect all time given for you development. Therefore, we require 24 hour notice of cancellation/rescheduling of session. No shows and cancellations not received 24hrs in advance WILL result in charges equivalent to full session. We appreciate your understanding.
