Al-Andalus 2000 school is a kindergarden, Primary and Secondary School (ESO 1, 2, 3 and 4).
The school motivation to join the project is to offer our students the opportunity to work with students from other countries in order to open their world to new cultures, showing them that there are other realities and ways of understanding the world. We are a co-op school, in which the teachers are part-owners. We believe in cooperation, so we have our students setting up their own co-ops since Primary school, working as a team for a commom aim. This would be another collaborative experience for them beyond their school limits. This would show them the real world value and results of cooperating.
At the moment our students are taking part in two in-school projects, one of them is “Growing healthy” and “Ecoschool: Recycling”. The topics we have chosen are related to the ones they are working on at school. We would like them to be aware of current world issues and be active agents in their own welfare and the improvement of their environment.
