Moore Lake Nature Experience

6th Grade A & B: Shaima Abukar & Said Ibrahim

On Friday October 10th, 2025 Both of our 6th grade classes walked to nearby Moore Lake for two hours of immersion into the natural environment of the area.  Students were led by scientists from the city of Fridley who organized stations that focused on a particular scientific study of the lake.  The students learned about pollination, water drainage, and soil science, among other subjects.  Thank you to the city of Fridley and everyone involved for making this a successful event for us.
