Students that are already familiar with the concept of being a digital citizen, can now delve deeper into specific focus areas of being cybersmart to teach others. They will be empowered to share their learning through creating resources for students and teachers to use when learning about being a cybersmart digital citizen.

Create your own song/rap to teach others about Internet Safety
Internet Safety: Teach others about the importance of safeguarding personal information online. Discuss the risks of sharing sensitive details such as full names, addresses, phone numbers, and passwords. Teach others about general internet safety practices, such as avoiding suspicious links and websites, recognizing online scams and phishing attempts, and practicing good password hygiene (e.g., using strong, unique passwords for each account).

2. Cyberkindness Awareness: Encourage positive online interactions and digital citizenship. Teach others to be kind online. Share it's impact on individuals' mental health and well-being. Teach others what to do when someone is not kind online and provide strategies for dealing with it, such as use your TABS - tell an adult you trust, ask them to stop, block, screenshotting.

3. Digital Footprint: Educate others about the concept of a digital footprint and how their online actions can have long-term consequences. Discuss the importance of thinking before posting, being mindful of the content they share online, and maintaining a positive digital reputation.
Extra: Plugged and unplugged: Discuss healthy screen time habits and the importance of balancing online and offline activities. Teach others about the risks of excessive screen time, such as eye strain, sleep disturbances, and reduced physical activity.
