ARI provides free Amplify mClass & Boost Reading, Heggerty, and UFLI materials, professional development for teachers and paraprofessionals, and resource for schools across the state of Alaska. Click on the headings below to access these resources. 

Amplify mClass & Boost Reading Intervention Programs

Amplify mCLASS Intervention is a K - 6 reading intervention program led by teachers and support staff. This program analyzes data and provides lesson sequencing, so staff can focus on the reading skills each student needs.  

Amplify Boost Reading is a K-5 digital student-led supplemental reading curriculum. This program extends core instruction, continuously adapts activities, and addresses remediation needs. 

Each program must be part of your MTSS plan, or the MTSS plan will need to be updated to receive these licenses.  Training will be provided by ARI.

Heggerty Materials and Training Requests

ARI provides Heggerty Phonemic Awareness training and teacher kits for schools wanting to implement this program. Training must be complete before materials will be sent.  ARI's list of Heggerty support sites can also be found here. 

UFLI Foundations Materials and Training Requests

Alyeska Reading Institute provides free UFLI training, materials, and resources for schools wanting to implement this program across the state of Alaska. Click on the heading above to sign-up for UFLI training, grade-level cohorts, access office hours zoom sessions, or request materials.
