Click on the link above to take the quiz and complete ARI's Asynchronous UFLI training. A score of 80% is needed to successfully complete the course. A certificate of completion will be emailed to you upon completion.

CEU Credit Information
A Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credit is a available for teachers that would like to use it towards renewing their teacher certification. CEU's require a minimum of 15 hours of course work. Restrictions can be found in the application below.
CEU Requirements
To complete the CEU for ARI's UFLI Asynchronous Course teachers must do the following:
complete the 6 modules of ARI's Asynchronous Course
receive 80% or higher on the final quiz
implement UFLI Foundations with a group of students for a minimum of one month
write a 2+ page final reflection paper describing
how UFLI Foundations implementation has gone with your students
how it has changed your reading instruction
how UFLI progress monitoring data has been incorporated and used to drive instruction.
The final reflection paper must be submitted within 6 months of completing the final quiz.

Download, complete, sign, and attach the CEU application and your final reflection paper in an email addressed to akreads@alaska.gov no later than 6 months after the course quiz has been submitted online. Do not send the $50 processing fee at this time.
Forms will be reviewed by a DEED employee whose authorized to offer this CEU. If the form is deemed complete and the research paper adequately shows that the individual has implemented UFLI Foundations with a group of students for a minimum of one month and used UFLI progress monitoring data to drive instruction, a CEU Certificate of Completion will be emailed to you and to Alaska Teacher Certification to be added to your file.
