Below are a selection of possible situations for you to choose. You will need to show you understand what to do by writing your own brief with restrictions/specifications and outline some timeframes for completion. You may negotiate your own by choosing something different but everyone is required to submit a plan for approval. You will need to ensure you complete all parts of the design process as outlined on your assessment schedule to achieve.
Vocabulary:
BRIEF - write a set of instructions on what you need to do!
RESTRICTIONS/SPECIFICATIONS - bullet points of things you need to consider such as size, cost, colours, client needs, materials, important information/branding.
TIMELINE - break up the deadline to manage your work and resources both in class and for homework.
CLIENT - a stakeholder who will give you critical feedback on your designs. You can ask a parent or a friend to ‘play’ this role to help you come up with the best solution to the brief.
