In response to requests we’ve received from districts for support in training large numbers of teachers on virtual instruction, we have developed Remote Learning @AIU, a one-stop shop to on-board your teachers, whether they are brand new to these tools or simply need extra support.

As you look at the Remote Learning @AIU document, the left-hand side identifies five concepts fundamental to virtual instruction, with three levels of support for each. We are hopeful that teachers will begin with the asynchronous training (found on tab 2). Should they need additional support, they can then tune in to a virtual Pop-Up PD, quick 30-minute sessions, or seek tailored feedback through virtual "office hours". Lastly, we are hosting a number of content- and grade-specific trainings focused on virtual instruction.

We will continue adding and updating sessions as districts identify need. Please feel free to recommend sessions that you do not currently see listed. Questions and comments can be directed to Kevin Conner at kevin.conner@aiu3.net.
