Over the course of the past two decades, the Natural Resources Management (NRM) program at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) has been deeply committed to engaging with local communities and partners through a series of transformative initiatives across various regions. This sustained engagement has not only enriched the educational experiences of NRM students but has also played a pivotal role in addressing critical environmental and developmental challenges.

Suphattraland: NRM's engagement with Suphattraland has focused on agroforestry, agribusiness, and biodiversity conservation. Through collaborative efforts, NRM students have worked closely with local communities to implement sustainable agroforestry practices, promoting the cultivation of valuable crops while safeguarding biodiversity. This partnership has fostered economic growth and ecological preservation in the region.

Rayong Botanical Garden: NRM's involvement with Rayong Botanical Garden centers on wetland conservation and soil organic carbon. NRM students have conducted research to enhance wetland preservation, helping to maintain essential ecosystems and biodiversity.
