This concept is a concept where we have to compare the cell organelles to real-life examples. I compared the cell organelles to a city, connecting the nucleus to things like the mayor, and the cell membrane is the border for the city. Two things I did well were the connection for the nucleus and the. Some things I could've done better are the ribosomes' connection, and I could've connected them to building blocks for the city and the ribosomes are the city office workers.
Cell cards
We were tasked with answering cards on a sheet of paper. The questions were related to cell organelles. My high during this was finally completing it after a long time. Another high during this task was the grade I got, considering the circumstances and time I had. A low I had was the time it took; it was a very long process to finish it. Another area I could improve is my responses. Some of them were inaccurate, and i could improve the accuracy.
Reflection
next time I will aim to improve my skills in identifying the roles the cells have, as it can help with further work or projects that may come up. I am proud of the accuracy I got in the connection of cell organelles to real-life examples. I am proud of how clear I was able to make the comparison, and how easy for someone to read and understand what my comparisons are and how they are relevant to the organelle. At first, I struggled with understanding what organelles do. because some organelles had similar functions to one another, like the golig aparrataus and er. They both had similar jobs with sending and moving. The ER would move the proteins around, while the Golgi apparatus would modify and ship them. This would give me a hard time recognizing the difference between the 2
