AISNE's student conferences also contain opportunities for adults to learn, network, and celebrate. Chaperones may choose to attend an adult breakout session, shop for titles for classroom or personal libraries at our pop-up bookstore, and spend time meeting and speaking with peers from independent schools around New England.
Review the Chaperone Information & Expectations for more details on roles and responsibilities.
Pre-Conference Expectations
Chaperones are responsible for the emotional and physical wellbeing of their students throughout the day and should ensure that they have their students' health information, including any allergy-related issues, and any medical supplies your school typically includes in field trips.
Chaperones should review all conference-related policies and procedures and help students review the Student Code of Conduct.
Chaperones must attend a virtual 30-minute orientation session (via Zoom). A link to join will be sent to you.
