The Safe Empowered Communities Association (SECA) is a nonprofit organization based at Plot 30 Chila Road, Kabulonga, Lusaka, and registered in 2018. SECA is dedicated to empowering communities across Zambia—specifically in Lusaka, Eastern, Central, Southern, and North Western Provinces—through social and economic capacity-building, skills development, and awareness creation. Our work centers around promoting gender justice, peace, gender equality, and environmentally friendly practices that support sustainable development. Guided by our vision of Empowered and Safe Communities, we implement community-driven programs that address key issues such as gender-based violence, child marriage, human trafficking, climate change, and economic marginalization. Through partnerships, training, and advocacy, SECA helps individuals and communities become agents of positive and lasting change.
