Kahoot!

Kahoot! is a mainstay in classrooms around the world. For those who have never used Kahoot!, essentially what it is used for is a highly engaging 4 question quiz that participants join using any device by going to the site and entering the join code. It has a game show feel to it. Very fun.

Quizlet is like the ultimate flashcard assessment tool. It's self paced, you can create different types of questions or you can create Kahoot like game simulations. These can be done in teams or as individual players.

Summative Assessment Tools

Rubistar

This website is like time traveling it is so old, however, rubric design hasn't gotten much of a makeover. Rubistar is a rubric maker that is fairly easy to use and is an alternative to those that may or may not be present in your learning management system.

Google Form

Turn a Google Form into a Quiz using this application. There is a quiz feature when creating. This can be used in either a formative or summative way.

Google Classroom / or an LMS

At AISL, we use Google Classroom from grades 3 and up. Within Classroom you can create a summative test. If you wanted more, you could go on a limb and create a classroom using an LMS (Learning Management System) such as Edmodo, Schoology, or Moodle which would give you a few more bells and whistles.
