Multilateral youth exchange with the participation of young people from Spain, the Czech Republic, Italy, Romania, Turkey and Portugal held in Portugalete from August 20 to 27.
Main objectives:
• To be aware of main information about human health, environment, their connection and sustainability
• To understand and implement healthy lifestyle
• To understand that the environment situation is critic and to implement new rules in everyday life with the goal to save the planet in the long term
• To learn how to live sustainably andits advantages
It is worth noting the results at two levels, on the one hand the participating young people and on the other the participating organizations and groups. At the level of the participating young people, we believe that the project has meant:
- Acquisition of knowledge about good practices in personal health care (physical and mental), care for the environment and the interrelationship between the consequences of our lifestyle on the quality and care of the environment.
- Improvement and acquisition of learning skills around the language (English), personal relationships, logistics and organization, project and time management, new technologies,...
- improvement of the personal curriculum of the participants and the leaders, certified by YOUTHPASS and valued and worked with them in the workshops in this regard - Progress in the process of youth empowerment that each of them personally lives, as well as in the generation of an image of active, participatory and transforming youth, with a European perspective, concerned about the environment and personal care as well as other cross-cutting issues and with proposals and concrete answers for the future.
- Possibility of discussing issues related to the difficulties that exist globally and how they affect our respective communities, especially with regard to environmental care.
- Elaboration of proposals and changes in our service and in our own communities and societies.
- Greater knowledge of the Erasmus+ program among this group and its environment In the long-term perspective, it was hoped that the people who have participated in the exchange could collaborate in the communities of origin to put their social conscience into practice through different volunteer programs. At the level of participating organizations and groups, these are some of the repercussions and results:
- Knowledge and relationship with new associations resulting in potential collaborations in joint and network projects
- Learning new models of coordination, work and management that allow us to improve ours. - Projection of the project and of the entity itself at a local and European level.
- Recognition of the work in the environment and in the scope of work of each entity in its area of influence
- Greater attractiveness for future young people or other potential target audience participating in this and other projects of the entity For all the people and entities involved, one of the most prominent impacts in all the evaluations and reviews is the recovery of these programs after the pandemic.
