∙ Put the same intensity into the classroom as you do in the pool.
∙ If you see a problem, own it.
∙ Meet lineups, relay order, and training methods are Coach decisions.
AISD Arlington Colt Swimming and Diving Policies & Procedures 2025-2026 GRADING
Daily participation influences your grade. A “No Suit” (NS), is any time an athlete does not have his or her swimsuit or equipment and is unable to participate or, without proper medical documentation, does not participate. Each athlete earns 100 points per six week grading period. Each NS or unexcused absence results in points being deducted from that grade. The first deduction will be 9 points from the total of 100. The second deduction will be 11 points, the third, 13 points, etc. Three or more deductions will result in a failing grade and possible removal from the team. If an athlete is asked to leave the training session due to lack of effort or another team infraction, the Coach will follow the NS protocol and the athlete will receive a grade deduction.
Just swim! Take care of your business on your own time. Don’t forget your equipment. If that happens, find a replacement from a teammate.
