The AIS Secondary School Orchestra has a long-standing tradition of excellence.  The Middle School Orchestra  is comprised of grades 6 through 8, and the Upper School Orchestra is comprised of grades 9 - 12. Our student musicians develop a strong sense of ensemble through active participation in the learning process. We cultivate instrumental technique through routines and habits that enhance our musical ear, consistent practice of skills, precise articulation and expression of artistry. By exploring diverse cultures, time periods, and places through our repertoire, we strive to bring the composer's voice to life in our performances.
