Although this current study involves the VEX Robotics EDR system and competition format, the Principal Investigator discloses that:
- he is not an employee or representative of VEX Robotics (the company that builds the robotics systems used in the competitions),
- he is not an employee or representative of the REC Foundation (the non-profit organization that operates the robotics competitions that uses the VEX Robotics system), and
- he is not endorsing (implied or overtly expressed) the VEX Robotics company or the REC Foundation in relation to this study.
The Principal Investigator also discloses that:
- he does use VEX Robotics products (as well as other robotics platforms) in teaching and professional development workshop offers and
- he is a coach/mentor of VEX Robotics teams at his current school (VEX IQ only, not VEX EDR).
