The school will take place at AIMS South Africa, one of a network of centres of excellence in mathematical sciences for postgraduate training, research and outreach in mathematical sciences in Africa. It hosts a research centre with a focus on Data science and information systems, cosmology and astrophysics, mathematical foundation and scientific computing, mathematical and physical biosciences and mathematical finance.

AIMS South Africa is located in Muizenberg, a small seaside suburb of Cape Town and in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The site is a half hour drive away from the three local Universities, the centre of Cape Town and Cape Town International Airport.
