PAPER PRESENTATION
RULES & REGULATIONS
Ø A technical paper should be in IEEE format.
Ø The content of paper should not be more than 5 pages.
Ø The topic selected must be original and technically relevant.
Ø A paper can have maximum of two authors.
Ø Full length paper must be sent to respective departmental email id on or before 15th May.
Ø Intimation of paper acceptance will be on 16th May 2017.
Ø Two hard copies must be produced at the time of presentation.
Ø Time duration for paper presentation is 8+2 minutes.
Topics are limited to :
1. Alternative fuels for IC engines
2. Advancement in automobile engines
3. Renewable energy resources
4. Intelligent transport system & vehicle technology
5. Mechanics in cars

Auto Quiz
RULES & REGULATIONS
Ø No Registration Fee
Ø The quiz will comprise of a preliminary and a Rapid-fire round.
Ø Each team should comprise of 2 members. Inter-college teams permitted.
Ø The preliminary round will be a written test.
Ø The top 5 teams will be selected for the final round.
Ø The procedure followed will be decided on the spot. Points are awarded accordingly.
Ø The team which accumulates the maximum number of points will be declared the Winner.
Ø Ties will be sorted out by a tie-breaker question.
Ø Judges decisions will be final and binding.
Ø All the participants are required to be present at the venue 15 minutes before the commencement of event.
Ø Teams are requested to inform in advance to the coordinators, about the arrival date and time.
Ø Any form of miss conduct & indiscipline from the participants will result in termination of the team or college from the participation.
All students must have their college ID card to attend and participate in events.

Real world – Material & Parts Identification of Engines

Ø Preliminary round: Identify the parts of Engine
Ø Final round: Identify the parts, material of Engine and sequence of assembly
There will be elimination round if number of teams are more.

Remote Car Racing
RULES& REGULATIONS
Ø Event is open for all branches.
Ø Each team comprises of maximum 3 members.
Ø Only one person of the team will be allowed on the track.
Ø Only one person shall be holding the remote control throughout the event.
Ø Change in name of team members must be informed prior the event.
Ø No practice time will be given.
Ø Dimensions of car should be 30 cm X 20 cm X 20 cm (Height).
Ø Max weight of car is 2 kgs.
Ø The track consists of obstacles, hurdles and hair pin bends.
Ø For self designed cars, the best designed cars with genuine effort will be declared as the best designed car.
Ø The co-ordinators reserve the right to dis-qualify any team indulged inmisbehavior and Co-ordinators decision is final

AUTO SKETCHING
RULES & REGULATIONS
Ø Event is open for all the Branches.
Ø The sketch should be completed within 1 and a half hours.
Ø Usage of cell-phones and any electronic devices is prohibited.
Ø Drawing sheet (A3) will be provided during the event.
Ø The participants should bring their own drawing equipments.

TREASURE HUNT
RULES & REGULATIONS
Ø Each team should have maximum 4 members.
Ø Event is strictly technical.
Ø Participants should be from 2nd Year & above. ( Event not for first year students )
Ø Event is limited to Mechanical Branch only.
Ø Usage of cell phones or any electronic devices is prohibited.
Ø Each team will have one volunteer with them.
Ø Each clue should be solved within 20 mins time.
Ø After each round 5 teams will be eliminated.
Ø There will be total 5 rounds.
Ø In final round all teams will receive same clues.
The final round i.e. Fifth round will have no time limit, first team to reach the last clue WINS.
