After being selected by a company, you must provide us a Student Certificate (SC) in order to ensure you and the company the tax and registration exemption of your internship. Once we receive a valid SC from you, we can approve you in our internal system, and you can start the visa process.

Visa/Residence Permit Application Fees "to be paid by the Intern"
After gathering all these papers, please visit the closest hungarian embassy/consulate. There, you may apply for a D-type visa which will allow you to enter Hungary to pick up your Residence Permit for employment purposes. Please when doing the application at the embassy, tell them the following: 'there's no need for workforce demand notification or work permit registration according to 445/2013 Government Decree, Section 15., Part (1), Point 11'.
When filling out the application forms, please consider the followings:
Fill out all the documents with BLUE pen. In Hungary, documents filled or signed with black pen may not be accepted depending on the authority
The Visa process is expected to take between 2-4 months, however, it can take more time due to the political scenario in Europe, or even less depending on the authorities
The success of the process is heavily dependent on the precision of your application (e.g attaching all the required documents, quality of the documents, having consistent information on all the attached documents)
For receiving the Visa it is mandatory to have a document showing where you will live. For this we send you the Accommodation Certificate that states that you are staying in that flat for free for the full period of the internship
You will be asked to provide a document proving that the accommodation you are being reported to really exists. For this we send you the Property Sheet which is a document completely in Hungarian
NOTE: Everything that is related to accommodation is just in order to support your Visa application, but you are responsible to find and cover the expenses for your own accommodation after your Visa is accepted. Please refer to all the information provided in the "Welcome to Hungary" email, booklets or this website.
After submiting the application, you may wait until it gets approved.
