After being selected by a company, you must provide us a Student Certificate (SC) in order to ensure you and the company the tax and registration exemption of your internship. Once we receive a valid SC from you, we can approve you in our internal system, and we can start the process.
First you will need to buy a health insurance for the whole duration of the internship and then once you received the accomodation support from us, you can start searching for an appartment or a room here in Hungary. If you already settled on your first day at the company, you can buy your one-way flight ticket to Hungary. Before leaving your home, do not forget to pack all the important documents that you might need for your permit application:
the original/hard copy of the Student Certificate (if it was issued on paper)
your passport (if it expires within 12 months, please request a new one)
your health insurance's paper (print it if possible)
your university diploma
a bank statement which certifies that you have at least €1000 or 400 000 HUFs in your savings.
the Invitation Letter that we issue for you
Since have the option to enter the Schengen Area and stay for 90 days, you do not have to apply for any type of visa in your home country. We can issue you an Invitation Letter that you will need to show at the border/airport when entering Hungary. This letter replaces the return flight ticket that you should show when entering the country.
If you could not find any accomodation that you would live at during your internship, then you must find one first, because in order to start your Residence Permit application, you will need to have a flat contract. You will also need documents that you will receive from either us or your company, such as
a new Invitation Letter with the full duration
the Preliminary Agreement (about your internship)
the Certification of Job Requirements (a document which states that your employer does not require you to have a university diploma for your position. Without this document, you have to get an Apostille on your original diploma and then translate it with the Hungarian Translation Office)
The other documents that you will need to gather for the application are:
your passport
your health insurance
a bank statement which certifies that you have at least €1000 or 400 000 HUFs in your savings
a picture of yourself that can be used for your permit card (official portrait, no smile, white background).
If you have each of the previously mentioned document, then you can start the application process.
