National Responsibilities
Actively participate as a member of the Presidents’ Board.
Represent the local entity in national legislative meetings.
Attend Weekly WIG Spaces/tracking spaces with the MCP
Attend Monthly O2Os with the MCP
Avail for Quarterly reviews with the LCEB
Communicate regularly with the MCP and MC team.
Participate in co-creation of national strategies alongside the MC.
Actively participate in the national sub-committees.
Prioritize self development and member leadership.
Team Management
Implement team standards for the local entity Executive Board.
Conduct weekly team meetings.
Conduct weekly WIG spaces for performance tracking
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to the EB team and manage performance.
Ensure synergies between functions and areas.
Facilitate team spaces & personal development of the EB team.
General management of the local entity members.
The Role
Set the strategic direction and goals of the local entity.
Oversee yearly planning to be done by the entire EB team.
Facilitate implementation of the national & global directions.
Resources planning of the entity throughout the term.
Use the OD Model to map out the future steps of the entity.
Ensure attendance of planning conference by the entire EB
Governance and Accountability
Ensure the organizational health of the entity.
Full participation in AIESEC Kenya events such as Youth Month, etc.
Legally represent the entity.
Final responsible of the financial situation of the entity.
Final responsible of fulfilling the national membership criteria.
Responsible for delivering entity reports to the MCP and MSC.
LCP Criteria
According to the AIESEC in Kenya Compendium, Appendix 10. AIESEC Kenya Presidents’ Board, Article 2.4 Criteria for LCP Selection starting 2017:
Must have been an LCVP
Must have a signed code of conduct from a current MCVP
Parents must sign a consent form allowing them to apply for the position
Must have a clear understanding of the National and Local compendium
Must have raised, matched or realized at least 10 exchange experiences*
Must have experience in partnership management
Should not have any intention of getting a full time job unless it is part of the school curriculum.
