Now in his 7th year at Anoka Middle School for the Arts, Adam Blumberg is a theatre arts educator dedicated to creating opportunities for young people to thrive through artistic expression. With an extensive background as a television studio executive and an Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Arts in Education, he brings a unique perspective that bridges media, education, and the arts to AMSA.
Recently named Curriculum Integration Coordinator, Mr. Blumberg leads school-wide strategic efforts to drive an arts-centered curriculum and advance a school culture where artistic thinking informs academic success. Aside from his duties in this new role, Mr. Blumberg also continues his work in the classroom and as Artistic Director of AMSA Theater.

Liz Behnke (she/her) is an educator and playwright from Minneapolis, MN. She has been teaching, writing, and directing at a neurodivergent charter school for the past 4 years, emphasizing storytelling and collaboration in her work. She holds a BA in Theatre from Augsburg University: concentrations in directing, dramaturgy, performance, and playwriting, with a minor in musical theatre. Her Masters of Education is from the University of Minnesota with a focus in Arts Education. When she is not immersed in sharing Theatre with the next generation of artists, she enjoys going on adventures with her partner and two senior dogs.
