Manaakitanga is a Māori concept that loosely translates to hospitality. Looking after visitors and treating others well is very important in Māori culture.
Manaakitanga is about how you care for each other, the well-being of your community, engaging with one another and maintaining strong relationships. It loosely translates to the concept of hospitality. In Māori society, looking after visitors and treating others well is of great importance.
