Virtual reality (VR) is a simulated experience that employs pose tracking and 3D near-eye displays to give the user an immersive feel of a virtual world. Virtual Reality Design involves creating fictional worlds to turn them into immersive experiences and games. Students have developed the project concepts using narratives, mood boards, storyboards and interaction models for selected scenes in their VR Experience.

Digital practices are altering the way we archive, interpret and communicate knowledge resources to diverse audiences. This course blends digital practice, technical skills and narrative building techniques to train students in archiving, interpretation and designing digital experiences. Students will engage with technologies primarily used for digital preservation like Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Photogrammetry, LiDAR, Geographical information Systems (GIS), Holograms and other tools for knowledge communication through digital medium.
