About course: This course is designed for students who have taken the JAP101 course and can write Hiragana and Katakana. The course will continue using the textbook Minna no Nihongo. Lessons will be based on the textbook that will be used during the semester. In each lesson there are drills divided into 3 levels: A, B and C.

Level A helps the student to learn advanced sentence construction systematically.

Level B has various drill patterns to strengthen the grasp of basic pattern.

Level C addresses the use of the language in real situations.

The course will have a strong focus on increasing the students’ range of vocabulary and their ability to read since the main textbook is written entirely in Japanese. The course will also have audio-visual content to make the content more engaging.
