2025 MCA Testing

MCA General Testing Information

ALL Staff MCA training: Wednesday, March 19th and April 16, 2025.

Required by All staff: Proctor Video trainings: Must be completed by .....

This was completed at the March 19th Staff meeting: If you were there and signed in you are all set :))

If not, please see Laura Hendricks and then Julie Vandenbrook can help you get logged in and set up to match the videos. (or view instructions)

All Proctors are required to complete 2 training sessions:

1.) Active Monitoring Training Video. (3 minutes) and Administering the MCA (10 Minutes)

DATE: Monday April 7th

Have students complete this Google form: This needs to be posted in your VH Google classroom. Please note any students who were absent on the spreadsheet . Have them complete when they return and mark on the spreadsheet.
- 24-25 NMS 8th Grade Chromebook Health Check
- 24-25 NMS 6th & 7th Grade Chromebook Health Check
- Just have students fill out the form. We will call them down for the repairs.

DATE: Wednesday April 9th

Please complete with students: 2025 NMS MCA Technology Prep: Teacher Version They will be doing a Test Nav app check and a Chrome update check. Enter Done/passed by each students name. If NOT Up to date send student to the library ASAP.

DATES: Tuesday April 15 and Thursday April 17th

Student Chromebook Check #1 and Student Chromebook Check #2 and record on this Spreadsheet (find your VH tab) who HAS a charged device that day and or a charger with them. Great if you can add what percentage they are at.Bonus
The goal is to make sure they all have a device and charger as well as to help you determine if a student needs some extra reminding and If you need to sit them by an outlet on test day. It will also help me so I have enough extras charged and ready for test day.
