Purpose:
Purpose:
It is the goal at NMS to have students in their assigned classrooms as much as possible but there are times when a student needs another setting for a limited time. Room 701 support room is the space for that. Here students are supported by providing a small and quiet space to work or take a test. They can have their assignment or test read aloud, have some additional help completing an assignment, or work independently in a small setting. After the task is completed, the student will return to class.

- It is helpful if teachers can plan ahead and schedule the times their students will need support. Please use the google form Academic Support Resource Room to sign your student up. It is also possible to send them without being signed up as needed.

- There are various times throughout the year that Academic Support will be closed. A communication will be sent out as needed.
