Hi all, I am Rachelle Andreatta, and I am the Aguilar FFA Advisor and the science teacher. I’m originally from La Veta, Colorado, where I was an active FFA member for five years. I graduated from Texas Tech in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Education and completed my master’s degree at NC State in Agriculture and Extension Education in 2023.
After completing my master's degree, I taught animal science, introduction to agriculture, and welding at Western Harnett High School for two years. During my time there, I coached a variety of teams, including Agriculture Education, Agriculture Mechanics, Tool ID, Agronomy, Quiz Bowl, Spanish Creed, Farm Business Management, Extemporaneous Speaking, Livestock Evaluation, Meat Evaluation, Milk Quality & Products, Poultry Evaluation, and Agriscience Fair. I have even had two students compete and place 6th in the nation in the agriscience fair, and I will have an additional student competing in the contest at nationals in October.
I am so beyond excited to return home and assist the Aguilar FFA to flourish as I know it can.
