Bode Gonzales is a senior at Verrado High School.
Bodie is a Varsity Volleyball Player and runner, a FAFSA peer coach, and the Cross Country Team Manager. The 23-24 school year is Bodie's first year as a member of HOSA. Bodie's dream college is Johns Hopkins University, where he plans to achieve his Bachelor's degree, master's degree, and later PhD in neuroscience. His career goal is to be able to develop a cure for degenerative neural disease, and injury-induced paralysis.
Kara Holguin is a senior at Verrado High School.
Kara is a AP/Honor student athlete on the Varsity Cheer Team, a member of Verrado Sports Medicine team, and a second year member of HOSA. After high school Kara plans to attend college and pursue a career in the medical field. Her motivation being her older sister diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder at a young age. This has shaped Kara into the person she is today.
Kennedy Lake is a senior at Verrado High School.
Kennedy is our chapter president and as been in HOSA for 3 years now, they are also a member of the Verrado theater club, Art club treasure, Chess club, Green hand club, and the most senior member of the Verrado Sports Medicine team. After high school Kennedy will continue her education attending GCU studying Nursing. Leading the Verrado Sports Medicine team and HOSA chapter has allowed kennedy to grow and discover what it means to truly be a leader .
