Agrupamento de Escolas João da Rosa is a Cluster of Schools (2 pre-schools, 3 primary and a secondary school (the one involved in this project) and the most important challenges that it faces are:
1. Continuous improvement of teachers, both in new methodologies of teaching and knowledge on environmental and social issues.
2. Strengthening the European dimension. Consolidating and creating new alliances with European partners to create a European network in teacher training.
3. Reinforcing the quality of learning through the culture of work, demand and responsibility, through inclusive education and pedagogical innovation, through the climate of safety and respect and the exercise of active and committed citizenship and through the contribution to sustainable development.
The challenge and purpose of this project is to increase the skills of teachers to be the vanguard of environmental and climate issues and knowledge. In addition to expanding the European dimension. The objectives of the project are:
- Strengthening the capacity of teachers and their training. Especially in pedagogical skills and digital skills, teaching methodologies and environmental aspects.
-Strengthening the European dimension and expanding professional networks in Europe.
- Promoting the values of inclusion, diversity, tolerance and democratic participation.
Mobility experiences for teachers: "Courses and training"; CRS-1 Valencia During 7 days, 3/4 teachers from Agrupamento de Escolas João da Rosa will be in Spain. During these days activities will be developed and implemented in order to improve the cooperation between our organizations under the Erasmus+ Programme. In addition to personal skills, the main objective is to improve the cooperation between our organisations under the Erasmus+ Programme and to improve methodologies of teaching, environmental protection and sustainability skills.
The host partner, who is a specialist in this type of course, will design it expressly for the objectives of this project and the theme will focus on environmental sustainability and Erasmus+ Programmes.
