One of our main goals is to increase skills and abilities through the European mobility experience.
This purpose is in line with the general and global needs of Agrupamento de Escolas João da Rosa, which is set forth below. The needs of the our school are raised after an analysis of the needs taking into account the level of the organization and of the teachers, thus:
1 - ORGANIZATION:
a. Promoting a sustainable, social and solidarity development through education as established in the statutes of the school.
b. Continuing to increase the quality of training.
c. Achieving a European dimension of training, creating collaborations with other European organizations.
2 – TEACHERS.
a. Increasing learning and application of new didactic, pedagogical and digital methodologies.
b. Continuing to increase knowledge regarding environmental and social innovation to improve the quality of training.
The most important CHALLENGES that Agrupamento de Escolas João da Rosa faces are:
1. Continuous improvement of teachers, both in new methodologies of teaching and knowledge on environmental and social issues.
2. Strengthening the European dimension. Consolidating and creating new alliances with European partners to create a European network in teacher training.
3. Reinforcing the quality of learning through the culture of work, demand and responsibility, through inclusive education and pedagogical innovation, through the climate of safety and respect and the exercise of active and committed citizenship and through the contribution to sustainable development.
In relation to the above, some examples of actions to obtain a benefit are:
. Permanent teacher training in new teaching methodologies.
. Improving the content and quality of the training provided in our school on environmental and social issues.
. Offering new opportunities for teachers, such as mobility to European level through the Erasmus+ program.
. Disseminating and publicizing new experiences and opportunities through European collaborators and partners.
Lastly, it should be noted that this project represents a turning point for Agrupamento de Escolas João da Rosa by Introducing Couse and Training for teachers, hoping that these activities can be consolidated as an opportunity for the teachers and the organization.
