ACTIVITIES
The project will promote the implementation of the following innovative activities:
1- Logo contest for the project. Projects made by students
2- Creation of the website of the project to disseminate the project
3- During each school year, topics about UE will promoted by teachers on the subjects defined above (40h per year), after all get a specific course. Innovative kits will be created to be used during lessons.
4- Students will be invited to be PEN FRIENDS from students from former parters of the school writing postcards and letters during the development of the project
5- Create an European Itinerant Library with books about Europe to be used by all schools
6- Colect the best products and produce an e-book and a book
7- Identify each school/class as an European country (27 countries)
8- Each “country” (school/class), during each school year will search information, improve the knowledge about the country (geography, history and culture) and create contents and exibit the products
9- Each “country” (school/class) will vote for an European Deputy
10- Each “country” (school/class) will discuss topics about sustainability, civic participation and multiculturalism in Europe
11- European Parliament will be created with one deputy from each “country”
12- European Parliament meeting will happen twice a year at the main school to discuss the topics sustainability, civic participation and multiculturalism in Europe
13- Around 9th May we will promote the European Week:
a. 1st European Parliament meeting
b. Invite an European Deputy to talk about European Politics
c. Organize an European Football Championship with a team from each “country”
