There are 5 major components of the Career Development Event.

• Written general knowledge exam

• Tree species identification

• Pest/Disease identification

• Equipment identification

• Alternating practicum:

  • 2020: pruning & locating specimens properly

  • 2021: invasive species

  • 2022: pruning specimens properly
