Rollator Repair Training

Welcome to our Rollator Repair Training Program!

The rollator repair training program is designed to provide you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to support rollator users. Through hands-on learning and guided instruction, you will gain a strong understanding of rollator function, selection, maintenance, and repair.

To make the most of your upcoming hands-on training, please watch the training videos and review the materials beforehand. These resources will introduce you to rollator basics, common maintenance issues, repair techniques, and the reimbursement process for obtaining a rollator. By reviewing this information in advance, you'll be better prepared to apply your skills during the in-person session.

Community Track

This track provides a general overview of how to obtain a rollator, how to select the correct equipment, and practical, easy-to-follow guidance for basic maintenance and repairs.

This track is appropriate for rollator users, caregivers (including CNAs), case managers, and other non-healthcare folks who engage with rollator users.

Healthcare Professional Track

This track offers a deeper, more in-depth look at clinical considerations, insurance and reimbursement processes, documentation, and best practices for helping patients obtain and maintain the right rollator for their needs. It also includes hands-on training in basic rollator maintenance and repairs to better support patient safety and mobility.

This track is appropriate for health care professionals (OT, PT, PharmD, MD, NP, etc) and others who work in the healthcare field.
