Alpine Acres Sanctuary Farm is a 20-acre beyond-organic animal sanctuary and working farm in Alpine, California, home to nearly 200 rescued animals. We grow chemical-free fruits and vegetables for our farmers market stands and local produce clients, and we're looking for an experienced Head Grower to lead our agricultural operation.

What you'll do:

Plan and execute succession planting to ensure a consistent, year-round harvest — no gaps, no waste. Care for fruit trees, vegetables, and compost systems using regenerative practices. Work closely with the founder on what to grow, how much, and when, with our market schedule and client demand in mind.

What we're looking for:

Proven experience as a lead or head grower on a regenerative or beyond-organic farm. Deep knowledge of succession planting and seasonal crop planning. Someone who is collaborative, comfortable working independently, and takes pride in their craft.

Full-time

Schedule: 5 days/week

Compensation: $25. to $28. per hour, depending on experience
