Hands-on, applied learning in machine tool technology is getting a lot of attention this week at the CIEC (Conference for Industry and Education Collaboration) in Charleston, SC. Machining opportunities are making their way into classrooms, maker spaces, and industry training programs in OH, GA, AL, PA-- just to name a few.

Joannie Harmon and Lucinda Curry are collaborating with several partners there--North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, Texas A&M University, and University of Tennessee, Knoxville--and are looking for new schools ready to hop on board the ACE train.
