If needed, local volunteers can help you with sightseeing! We'll also send you an info booklet with place recommendations and useful information.
Costs: A hotel room with breakfast is paid for by AFS Hungary. Every other expense (for example: public transportation, lunch, dinner, entries, etc.) will have to be paid by you.
Hungary is considered a cheaper country than Western Europe, although Budapest can get pricey. A single-ride ticket is 1,2€, a daily pass is 6,2€. A meal at an inexpensive restaurant is usually at around 15€. English is generally spoken everywhere in Budapest.
If you wish to go on with this opportunity, please indicate it on your application form. We can not guarantee you this opportunity if you change your mind later.
